Thai Hot Stem Massage Class
Thai Hot Stem Massage, was developed in North America and incorporates acupressure, shiatsu, lomi lomi, yoga thai stretches and the use of herbal stems from Thailand. Through the multi-faceted technique and comprehensive pattern, every fibre of the client's body is gently and completely coaxed to relax, leaving them in a wonderful state of melted bliss. It's not only beneficial as a relaxation massage, but provides the same release and relief as a Deep Tissue massage - without the discomfort!
Through direct application of moist warmth from the herbal stems, the client is able to completely relax and enjoy the benefits of the stems. The Herbal Stems are compiled of organically grown herbs: a four-hundred year old medical Thai recipe combining herbs known for their detoxification, anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties. These herbs are grown and the stems compiled in a fair wage environment. Your clients may choose to take the stems home after treatment to allow the aromatic properties of the herbal recipe to "extend the bliss".
As a therapist how do I benefit?
- You will find that this will this be the most requested indulgence on your treatment menu.
- The billing point for this technique is suggested to be superior to many other techniques and many therapists are billing $30 to $50 above their posted price for Hot Stone treatments.
- When the technique is administered properly, it is ergonomically easier (than traditional massage) on the therapist's body which enables him/her to accommodate more appointments throughout the day. Additionally, because the technique is easier on the therapist, their career life may be extended. It is well known in the massage therapy industry, that physical burnout has long been an issue.
- This workshop is eligible for NHPC continuing education credits - up to 5 per day (depending on your status with them. Please call NHPC for your credit level.)
- Maximum class participants is 14 - so register early to secure your spot!
- Workshop Fees: $450 + GST. Supplies for the course are not included in this costs. Recommendations for supplies are listed below.

- Exclusive Whole Body Healing Training DVD & Workshop Manual (not available through any other source). The manual is only available to workshop participants. The DVD and Manual are comprehensive, and have both been developed by Whole Body Healing (Yes! It's ours!) which means we hold the legal right for duplication and distribution to you.
